Visiting Assistant Professor of Chinese

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Lehigh University invites applications for a one-year position, with the possibility of renewal, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic year 2024-2025. We seek candidates to teach 12 credits each semester in modern Chinese language across all levels, including an upper-level course in the candidate’s field of specialization.

Qualifications
Candidates who are ABD will be considered, though a PhD in Chinese Studies or a related field should be in hand by the beginning of the fall semester. Applicants must have native or near-native fluency in Chinese and English. Those with college teaching experience in the U.S. are preferred.
