K12 CLTA Annual Conference Stipend Awards
The 2027 CLTA Annual Conference will take place in Hawaii! To support K–12 educators and showcase outstanding Chinese language programs, conference registrants are invited to apply for the K–12 CLTA Annual Conference Stipend Award. Recipients can receive up to $500 to help cover travel expenses.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this award, the applicant must be:
- A current CLTA member
- A Chinese language teacher in elementary, middle, or high school, including public, private, charter, and weekend enrichment schools
To apply:
- Have already completed registration for the 2027 CLTA Annual Conference.
- By January 15, 2027, submit an application form to the K-12 Committee.
- By February 15, 2027, applicants will be contacted by the K-12 Committee.
Applicants will be evaluated by K-12 Committee members and Regional Associations K-12 Representatives employing standard criteria including indicators in the areas of curriculum development, classroom instruction, and creativity. Award recipients will be announced before the CLTA-US Annual Conference. The name(s) of the awardee(s) will also be reported in the CLTA Newsletter and on the CLTA website.
