CLTA First-Time Presenter Award

Award Amount: $500

The CLTA First-Time Presenter Award provides a $500 travel grant to support current CLTA members who are presenting at the CLTA Annual Conference for the first time. The award is intended to help offset conference-related travel expenses and is exclusively available to active CLTA members.

Applications must be submitted by November 15, 2026. Applicants will be evaluated based on the quality of their conference abstract and application letter. One to two recipients will be selected.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet both of the following requirements:

  1. Be an active CLTA member.
  2. Have never presented at a previous CLTA Annual Conference.

Application Requirements:

Applicants must submit the following materials:

  1. Application Letter: A letter explaining the applicant’s need for the travel award and how the funding would support their participation in the CLTA Annual Conference.
  2. Conference Abstract: The abstract submitted for the upcoming CLTA Annual Conference.
  3. Application Form: The completed CLTA award application form.
  4. Submission: Submit all application materials to cltaaward@gmail.com.
  5. Application Deadline: November 15, 2026
