2014 CLTA Professional Development Grants are awarded

The CLTA Regional Associations Committee is happy to report that, after a careful review and approval by the CLTA Steering Committee, the 2014 CLTA Professional Development Grants are awarded to the following associations (in alphabetical order):
Chinese Language Teachers Association of California (CLTAC)
Chinese Language Teachers’ Association of Southern California (CLTA-SC)
Chinese Language Teachers Association of Texas (CLTA-TX)
Chinese Language Teachers Association of Virginia (CLTA-VA)
Chinese Language Teachers Association-Washington State (CLTA-WA)
Georgia Chinese Language Educators (GCLE)
Iowa Chinese Language Teachers Association (ICLTA)
Oklahoma Chinese Language Teachers Association (OKCLTA)
Wisconsin Association of Chinese Language Teachers (WACLT)
It is with great enthusiasm that the CLTA honors the creative energy that these regional associations have brought to the CLTA in 2014. Please join us in congratulating them for their hard work in preparing and offering professional development opportunities for local Chinese language teaching professionals. Also, please encourage your local organization to establish an official affiliation with the CLTA if they have yet to do so. Once affiliated with the CLTA and maintaining current membership, your local organization becomes eligible to submit a proposal for a 2015 Professional Development Grant. Please visit https://www.clta-us.org/about-clta/regional-cltas/ for information about regional affiliation procedures.
Best,
