The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi seeks a full-time Instructor for its intensive Chinese Language Flagship Program, a federally-funded program, to begin in August, 2022. The instructor will teach all levels of Chinese language and culture following the program’s curriculum and guidelines. The successful candidate must demonstrate substantial training and experience in teaching Chinese to American university students, as well as work in second language acquisition. M.A. degree or equivalent in Chinese, second language acquisition or linguistics and native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese are required.

This 9-month position is renewable annually subject to on-going funding and pending positive evaluations.
