Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a Teaching Assistant (Drill Instructor) in the Chinese Language Program, beginning in mid August 2021. M.A. (or equivalent) is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will assist Franklin & Marshall students in learning the Chinese language and gaining an understanding of Chinese culture through a variety of co-curricular activities, while also receiving extensive training in Chinese pedagogy. The successful applicant should have experience teaching Chinese at the college level in the United States with native or near native proficiency in modern standard Chinese. The TA will receive hourly wages, health insurance, a travel allowance, and campus housing.
